Apparently, Rachael is not too crazy about my color choice for the master bedroom either. Notice the letters RACH on the wall. I think she was very proud of her work. I put the paint that I've been using on the bathroom cabinets out of sight. I should have put it out of sight and reach. Another lesson learned. Luckily it was just a glaze and water based. I gave a sigh of relief after inspecting Brian's work computer. Not a drop. The carpet and blinds are the only things permanently damaged...oh, and her brand new T shirt I ordered that says: Please be patient with me, I'm autistic. That helped me stay calm. It's hard to discipline her for things like this. She just gets in these destructive modes while she's not medicated and shows no acknowledgement or remorse until she snaps out of it. She was so sorry at bedtime. "I so, so sorry mom for painting. I not ever do it again." I've been really pondering whether Rachael is close enough to the age of accountability for baptism in March. This was a reminder to me that we might want to wait a bit longer.

Oh Kelli! Bless your wonderfully patient heart!!!!
Oh my heck! You deserve a mommy stripe! It's so hard when you have one that can totally take you to your limit. I feel your pain!
Oh dear, Kelli, I am so sorry. I don't know what else to say. I admire your attitude. Life will always be interesting with this precious special needs child. Blessings to you. Aunt Sue
The positive is she did a great job on her name. She is so lucky to have you as a mom!!! We love you.
I hope the love of painting runs in the family because it looks like you have some painting to get to. :) I love that her new T-shirt says "Be Patient" covered in paint.
Sending love
