My conversation with Brody today:
Brody: Mom, you have a husband. His name is Brian. Aunt Kalyn has a husband too. His name is Carl.
Me: Where did you learn that?
Brody: At Husband School.
Me: Oh. Do you want to be a husband when you grow up?
Brody: Ya.
Me: To be a husband you have to get married. Who do you want to marry?
Brody: You.
Me: No, you can't marry me.
Brody: (tears welling up) But mom, I like you...and I will be big like you.
Me: You can't marry your mom or sister or cousin. You have to marry someone you're not related to.
(silence)
Brody: I know! Maybe I can marry a girl that's four like me!
Me: OK, but you both have to be all grown up to get married.
Brody: OK Mom.
Brody teaches me about new things every day. Last week he taught me all about chandeliers. He learned about them at "Chandelier School". I really don't know where he comes up with this. He doesn't go to preschool and just hangs out with me all day. I'm not used to it. Rachael is unable to reason and really doesn't comprehend relationships or concepts so this is all new to me. It amazes me how "typical" kids really are like sponges and are SO SMART!

That is soooo hilarious!!! I love the innocence of kids, their little minds are so active!
